What You'll Be Doing

• Carrying out comprehensive patient assessments, recommending diagnostic procedures, and crafting personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and treating acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in tandem with physicians or independently (based on credentials)
• Informing patients and families on health promotion, wellness, and disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapies in alignment with your practice scope
• Engaging in patient follow-up and managing chronic care
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and seamless care
• Documenting diligently and accurately within electronic medical records (EMR)

Education Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of California
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or a corresponding specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain within 90 days)
