Cortez - Process Maintenance Planner/Document Control Specialist

The successful candidate will administer the Maintenance and Process controlled documents. This position will maintain the Cortez Process Document Control for the maintenance team with organizing, developing and maintaining all maintenance tactics and associated documentation, including SOP’s, SJP’s, LOTO documents, drawings, P&ID’s, and Single Line drawings.Responsibilities:Organize, track, file and distribute accurate information in a timely manner.Manage controlled documents to ensure the latest, most current and accurate information is distributed to maintenance, operations personnel and contractors.Collaborate closely with the Maintenance, Operations, Environmental & Safety teams to ensure Livelink/Share Point documents are within the Nevada Gold Mines guidelines.Manage and maintain proper naming conventions, hierarchy structure, attributes and indexing of documents.Understand and follow Nevada Gold Mines document control standards.Format job plans, where maintenance work needs to be completed due to operational changes, statutory requirement changes or equipment improvements.Continuously review, seek feedback, and optimize resources, parts, tooling, task list, safety information, risk assessment related to SJP’s.Ensure routine maintenance SJPs, safety information, drawings and PM activities are accurately uploaded and maintained in SAP and in NGM Document Control.Successful candidates must be able to effectively collaborate and communicate with other operations, maintenance, Environmental and Safety personnel.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Proficiency with Microsoft Office requiredPrevious experience using SAP is preferredDemonstrated experience and proficiency in maintaining pumping and piping equipment as well as electrical and instrumentation equipment preferredDemonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings preferredExcellent safety and attendance record requiredWhat We Can Offer You:A comprehensive compensation package including a competitive medical, dental, and vision plan with national provider networks, a 401k retirement plan with employer contribution AND employer match, paid time off, company-sponsored medical clinics, company match share purchase program, and much more!Work in a dynamic, collaborative, progressive, and high-performing team.Endless opportunities to grow and learn with industry colleagues.Access to a variety of career opportunities across the organization.Nevada Gold Mines is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.About Nevada Gold Mines Nevada Gold Mines is a joint venture between Barrick Gold Corporation (61.5%) and Newmont Goldcorp Corporation (38.5%), combining their significant assets across Nevada to create the single largest gold-producing complex in the world and realize the full potential of these mines through synergies and best-in-class operational improvements.The massive mining operation comprises 8 mines along with their associated infrastructure and processing facilities that produced an estimated 4 million ounces of gold in 2018.
