Responsible for designing, developing, implementing and testing a set of technical products in response to an external or internal need. Manager is an advanced technologist enabling strong coding practices and solid design decisions. Builds meaningful relationships with relevant stakeholders and effectively partners to remove organizational obstacles and guide cross-team strategic efforts. Acts as agile/product champion by enabling product teams and partnering with other leaders to drive empowerment, autonomy, engineering momentum, and business value. Fosters a culture of empowerment, engineering excellence, and growth.Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience- 10 or more years of relevant software engineering experience- Six or more years of experience leading multiple software engineering teamsPreferred Skills/ExperienceProven experience delivering software and engineering platforms within a large Financial Services organization.Experience leading highly technical engineering organizations and influencing senior executive stakeholders.Strong architectural acumen with the ability to connect disparate technologies into a cohesive engineering ecosystem.Proven track record balancing hands-on technical leadership with executive-level strategy and execution.Expertise in the role of Artificial Intelligence in Platform Engineering from idea, to design, to full scale productionDemonstrated experience driving large-scale transformation and organizational change initiatives.Location expectationsThis role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.If there’s anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants.
