Must-Have: Candidates must be competent in both Pediatric and Adult PACU. Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

Description: The position is for a Travel RN in the PACU. The RN will work in both Phase 1 and Phase 2 recovery per ASPAN guidelines. The unit has 21 beds and a daily staff of 14, including RNs and PCTs. Patient ratios in the PACU are 1:2. Familiarity with monitors and stretchers is required. Experience with EMR systems is preferred, with Meditech experience considered a plus. Candidates should be comfortable functioning independently as well as supporting the team. New technology and equipment may be present in the unit. The unit values teamwork and independent functionality in their staff. Preferred candidates will have previous PACU experience. The position requires willingness to work with both pediatric and adult patients.
