Offering a forward-thinking, innovative, and vibrant company culture, along with the opportunity to share your unique potential, there really is no place like Holmes!**Essential Responsibilities:*** Accurately process basic cash receipts using prescribed workflows and systems with assistance from leader* Perform basic day-to-day financial transactions including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording cash receipts data* Research and resolve simple issues/discrepancies associated with cash receipts in a timely manner and appropriately communicate with internal and/or external parties when necessary* Assist with premium financing for clients with external premium finance companies* Assist with daily reconciliation of cash receipts and deposits**Qualifications:*** Education: High School Diploma required; Accounting degree preferred* Experience: 0-2 years accounting experience preferred, insurance agency experience is a plus.* Technical Competencies: Invests in developing and applying financial knowledge and principles to deliver accurate, high-quality outcomes. Utilizes analytical skills to identify opportunities or root causes, evaluate information, and execute effective solutions.
