As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Alarm Response in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms, and provide professional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the distribution facility, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel. Observe shipping and receiving activity for unusual conditions and report security-related concerns according to site-specific procedures. Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Customer service experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. CPR/First Aid is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
