Surgical Technologist

Job Overview We are seeking a Travel Surgical Technologist for Wausau, Wisconsin. Start Date: 06/08/2026 • Duration: 13 weeks • Hours: 40 per week • Shift: 8 hours, days • Employment: Travel Responsibilities Set up operative suites and manage case carts to ensure all supplies are available. Scrub surgical cases across multiple specialties (General Surgery, GYN, Urology, etc.) and turn over rooms for 40–60 cases per day across 21 ORs. Assist with downtime tasks and help train new hires. Qualifications Minimum 4+ years of experience in the operating room (no first‑time traveler). Prior travel experience required; may be required to travel to Aspirus sites (Merrill, Antigo, Medford, Stanley) if needed. BLS certification mandatory; CST license required; NBSTSA or NCCT accepted. Experience with Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, Spine cases required; comfort with complex spine and neuro cases essential. Trauma Level II experience required. Must have own vehicle; cannot rely on Uber/Lyft due to on‑call responsibilities. Knowledge of surgical standards and practices obtained through a surgical technologist program and related OR experience.
