Housekeeping Laundry Attendant

Job Summary Country Inn & Suites by San Diego, located at 5975 Lusk Blvd, San Diego, CA 92121, seeks an energetic and detail‑oriented full‑time Laundry Attendant. The role is a key member of the hotel team, responsible for washing, drying, folding, and preparing linens and towels daily. Compensation is $20.00 per hour, with benefits and potential growth into a Supervisor role. Responsibilities Prepares bed and bath linens Displays and replaces amenities and promotional materials Removes trash and soiled linen, and takes them to the appropriate pickup area Maintains supplies necessary to clean laundry efficiently Utilizes proper cleaning methods to prevent injury Keeps supply carts stocked Locks, presses, and folds towels and linen Reports deficiencies in hotel facilities and on guest floors to the housekeeping/engineering management team Ensures cleanliness of guest room hallways, elevators, public areas and service corridors in accordance with hotel standards Inventories and maintains the cleanliness of the linen closets and laundry room Projects an image of professionalism, friendliness and willingness to provide personalized service to guests Adheres to the hotel’s lost and found policies and procedures Occasionally cleans and straightens guestrooms and common areas as needed Requirements Must be eligible to work in the US and possess all necessary documents listed on I‑9 and verified through eVerify Ideal candidate will have experience working in a hotel environment that provides a superior level of guest service and professionalism Ability to work quickly while maintaining a close attention to detail Must possess the ability to handle multiple tasks at once Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to effectively communicate with department managers, team members, and guests Must possess a strong team spirit Maintain high energy for long periods of time Physical Demands Perform repetitive hand and arm movements; lift, pull, push up to 70 pounds on an ongoing basis; squat, bend, kneel and twist continuously; stand for long periods; and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
