As a Personal Care Specialist , you'll be the friendly face who guides patients and customers through their dispensary experience—from the moment they walk in to the moment they check out. Think of the role as part educator, part retail specialist, and part concierge. Responsibilities Educate them on cannabis products, consumption methods, and safe use. Recommend personalized product options based on their needs. Stay knowledgeable about new products and industry trends. Help maintain a clean, compliant, and well‑stocked retail environment. Assist with inventory, order accuracy, and general store upkeep. Provide the management team with the necessary support to ensure retail store operations run smoothly and comply with applicable rules and regulations, including daily activities, maintenance, and handling of patient information for any reported issues or complaints. Ensure local and state cannabis regulations are properly enforced and upheld. Follow all safety, security, and state cannabis regulations. Support store operations across multiple stations (front‑of‑house, back‑of‑house, curbside, etc.). Strong communication and listening skills. Consistent, reliable attendance and the ability to work varied shifts. A desire to learn about cannabis and wellness. Professionalism, integrity, and the ability to work well as part of a team. Must be 21+, pass required background checks, and meet state cannabis employment rules. Must pass all required background checks, including state‑specific cannabis employment requirements. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all employees. Previous experience with POS systems. Employees must be able to follow instructions and incorporate constructive criticism from managers. Operate with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential information and complying with HIPAA requirements. Must be willing and able to occasionally work a flexible schedule as the business needs demand, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
