Forklift Driver | 8:00AM –4:30PM | Monday – Friday | $16.50/hr
Wage increase to $21.00/hr at six months.
Food grade warehouse and toll processing facility in Decatur, IL is looking for Forklift Driver . This is a well-known and established family owned business in operation for over 100 years. The position is long-term in a union facility with good pay and benefits including health insurance and a pension plan.
Qualifications for Forklift Driver
- Excellent physical strength to handle 50+ pound bags
- Willingness to perform physical labor such as stacking and palletizing
- Solid work history with excellent attendance record
- Forklift truck experience is a plus
- Able to pass a drug screen
Responsibilities for Forklift Driver
- Mixing dry and liquid food grade products
- Packaging into bulk containers
- Repackaging from pallet containers to individual bags
- Palletizing and stacking finished product
- Pulling and preparing customer orders for shipment
- Maintaining inventory in an orderly fashion
