Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:


Seeking an experienced RN for the Cardiac Cath Lab/EP to provide specialized care for cardiac patients during invasive procedures. This role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-procedure assessments and prepare patients for cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and condition throughout the procedure, providing continuous support.
• Administer medications and contrast agents as directed by physicians.
• Document patient data, procedures, and interventions accurately in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians and technicians to assist during complex cardiac interventions.
• Ensure adherence to infection control standards and safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 1 year of recent experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or EP setting.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Familiarity with invasive cardiac procedures and equipment.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
