Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: 1 year(s) License: Required Certifications: ACLS Preferred, BLS Certification Must-Have: BSN Not Required Description: Unit notes radius rule is 100 miles. Will accept applicants from 50-100 miles with adjusted rate. No acceptance for applicants within 50 miles. The unit has 32 beds, and patients are only on telemetry if ordered. Telemetry is monitored 24/7. IV drips include dopamine at a constant rate with no titration, primarily for renal perfusion. Heparin administration is included. Patients may consist of stable vent patients and Bipap patients. Renal patients may have acute or chronic failure and require dialysis. The unit caters to medical and surgical patients. Cares are provided by internal medicine physicians, family practice, and hospitalist overflow. Cancellation policy allows clients to cancel shifts without penalty under specified conditions. Charting system utilized is Cerner.
