Driller Assistant

Insight Global is looking for a Geotechnical Driller Assistant to support site a national AEC company in Spartanburg, SC. The Driller Assistant supports drilling operations for geotechnical, environmental, and construction-related projects. This role assists the Lead Driller with operating drilling equipment, maintaining job site safety, handling materials, and collecting soil and rock samples. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions while performing physically demanding work. Routine inspection and maintenance of drilling equipment are also part of the role to ensure safe and efficient operation. Work is performed outdoors in active construction environments while following all safety and utilitylocate procedures.

Required Skills & Experience

High School Diploma OR GED
Clean background and motor vehicle report
Experience within construction or manual labor.
Safety orientated mindset


Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Familiarity with Geotechnical/Environmental space
Experience with heavy machinary or welding
CDLA license
