VP of Emerging Sales

Description Are you ready to join and help manage a team of A+ sales professionals at the industry’s leading digital marketing platform? You will play a critical role in building and managing the team responsible for creating new opportunities with technology and services focused enterprise brands and agencies, including those in financial services, education, media and entertainment, technology and travel. As a leader, you will drive performance and operational excellence as you help execute sales strategies to close revenue and build a pipeline of new business in your region. Your team will uncover and engage these prospects using Skai’s industry leading solutions across Search, Social, Apps, Data and Measurement solutions to help grow our business. Key Responsibilities Manage and drive your sales team to peak performance Collaborate with your Regional Vice President and the Management team to develop a business plan designed to meet and exceed your revenue goals Manage your revenue pipeline to meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals Recruit, hire and train members of the sales team to drive sales excellence Work closely with the marketing and sales development team on events and targeted campaigns Develop, coach and mentor your direct reports. Support employees through internal talent management programs and performance reviews Requirements Five to ten years of digital experience in a sales and/or sales manager role Working knowledge of one or more of these key verticals: financial services, education, media and entertainment, technology and travel Willingness to learn; creativity, passion, positivity, and drive People management experience (desirable) BA/BS degree preferred, but will consider equivalent years of work experience Comfort with selling software and services SaaS and sales experience preferred Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to work collaboratively and as part of the overall sales team Knowledge of prospecting and CRM software (ideally Salesforce & LinkedIn Navigator) Technical expertise and ability to acquire knowledge of our solutions We are hybrid for the long term – with a great home/office work mix (three days in office per week), passionate and diverse team members, and a vibrant company culture. The salary range for this position is $175,000 - $220,000 plus commissions. The actual salary amount will vary depending on the applicant’s experience, skills and abilities as well as internal equity and market data.
