About the Role:
Save a Lot Food Stores is looking for a skilled Full-Time Meat Cutter to join our team in Williamsport, PA! This is a great opportunity to bring your craft to a community-focused grocery store where quality and customer satisfaction come first. Responsibilities:

• Cut, trim, and prepare fresh meats including beef, pork, poultry, and specialty cuts to customer and store specifications
• Maintain a fully stocked and visually appealing meat case throughout the day
• Wrap, weigh, label, and price meat products accurately
• Assist customers with meat selections, special orders, and cutting requests
• Ensure proper rotation of product and monitor freshness and quality standards
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines in the meat department
• Operate and maintain meat cutting equipment including band saws, grinders, and slicers

Requirements:

• Previous meat cutting or butcher experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of meat cuts, grades, and preparation techniques
• Ability to safely operate meat cutting equipment and sharp tools
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
• Ability to work in a cold environment and stand for extended periods
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work a full-time schedule including weekends
• Strong customer service skills and a friendly, team-oriented attitude
