Pay Range $80,000-$90,000 + Great Bonus Opportunity!

This key leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily service operations, driving department performance, developing technicians, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily operations of the plumbing service department
• Manage, coach, develop, and hold accountable plumbing technicians and support staff
• Oversee service warehouse operations including inventory management, purchasing, truck stock, and material control
• Partner with dispatch and customer service teams to maximize scheduling efficiency and revenue opportunities
• Drive departmental KPIs including revenue per technician, close rate, average ticket, and customer satisfaction scores
• Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, safety regulations, and company operational standards
• Monitor fleet readiness, equipment availability, inventory levels, and technician efficiency
• Oversee departmental budgeting, forecasting, and overall financial performance
• Resolve escalated customer concerns quickly and professionally
• Work closely with leadership, sales, and marketing teams to help grow service demand and department profitability
• Implement technician training, coaching, and performance improvement plans
• Track service performance metrics and continuously improve operational processes
• Build and maintain strong vendor and supplier relationships
• Ensure proper licensing compliance and operational standards are consistently maintained

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of plumbing industry experience

• Strong understanding of residential plumbing service operations
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, safety standards, and industry best practices
• Experience managing service technicians and leading performance accountability
• Experience managing inventory, purchasing, warehouse operations, and fleet coordination
• Experience managing departmental budgets and P&L performance
• Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills
• Valid driver’s license

Highly Preferred

• Journeymen Plumbing License
• Prior home service management experience
• Experience with performance-driven service organizations
• Experience leading high-volume plumbing service teams
• Familiarity with service management software platforms
• HVAC industry experience is a plus but not required
