Quality Inspector/MetricsJob Summary:This field position inspects construction projects to ensure it is performed in accordance with project plans and specifications, standards and methods set out in the project Quality Control Plan and Quality Assurance Plan, and client requirements and specifications. The quality assurance inspector also conducts quality assurance surveillance on materials and services provided by vendors and subcontractors. Additional duties include working with Quality Manager to produce monthly contractually required metrics and roof related progress metrics and databases. This project may require shift work and/or overtime and should last 12-18 months.Essential Functions:Provides oversight for contractors to ensure compliance with all plans and specificationsConducts business in an ethical manner and demonstrates a commitment to quality and excellenceCompletes required field inspections and reports as directed by the Quality ManagerDocuments, reports, and follows-through on results of the field inspectionsParticipates in quality-related training courses assigned by the Quality ManagerEnsures compliance with company policies, procedures, and other practices set forth by upper management directivesAssists with data collection and metrics reportingPerforms other duties as assigned by the Quality ManagerQualifications:High School diploma required with some higher education preferredMinimum 5 years of experience in QC inspection or management of construction projects is required. (Roofing experience is desired)Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people who need to cooperate to achieve maximum efficiencyGood oral and written skillsMust be able to work outdoors in inclement weather conditionsGood computer skills with Microsoft Office required (Microsoft Power BI desired)Commercial Building Inspector Certification preferredExperience with Government projects and Construction of Facilities projects is a plusBachelor's degree is a plusJob-site Specific Requirements:Must have, and maintain, a valid Texas Driver's LicenseMust be able to obtain, and maintain, access to the job site from NASA Security/BadgingMust complete all required safety and awareness trainingMust meet all requirements of the Johnson Space Center/Amentum Fall Protection ProgramDue to Safety Protection equipment requirements, qualified candidates must weigh a minimum of 130 pounds and a maximum of 290 poundsCompensation Details:$105,000The compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good-faith estimate of what the company intends to offer for this role at the time this posting was issued.
