Description

American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric Occupational Therapist with 1+ year of experience for a 13-week outpatient assignment at a Level II Trauma Center requiring Epic EMR proficiency.

Details

• Outpatient Pediatric OT position at a women's and children's pavilion offering comprehensive maternity services and a Level II NICU
• Level II Trauma Center with 571 total staffed beds across two campuses
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00–17:00)
• No weekends required
• No floating within the unit required, though travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state
• Charting via Epic EMR
• Parking is facility paid
• Local candidates are not accepted for this position

Requirements

• Active OT license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience
• Current BLS certification required
• NBCOT certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Scrubs may be any color; reddish-orange is not permitted
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment
• Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
