Management Analyst

Mokena, IL, with a population of approximately 20,000, is a suburban community located approximately 35 miles southwest of Chicago in northeastern Will County. The Village of Mokena is a family-oriented community with outstanding schools, parks, and excellent municipal services. The Village of Mokena is seeking professional, innovative, and self-motivated candidates interested in serving in the Management Analyst position. The Management Analyst position is under the supervision of the Village Administrator. The Management Analyst is directly involved with the general administrative and operational functions within the Village, working closely with the Village Administrator and management team to handle administrative functions and Village affairs as assigned. The position requires a high degree of professionalism, independent judgment, management and retention of confidential information, and the overall ability to work with all levels within a Village government and may supervise staff. The Village is seeking candidates with strong leadership and communication skills who wish to join a professional management team. All Village employees are expected to embrace the motto, “Where Our Customers Always Come First”. The successful candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from an accredited four-year college or university. Candidates would ideally possess at least five years of progressively responsible public and/or private sector experience and/or training. Additional qualifications to include (but not limited to) excellent communication and presentation skills (both oral and written), the ability to think proactively and develop strategic plans, and the ability to coordinate and work well within the management team and with other staff members. All applicants must possess a valid Illinois Driver’s License. The annual salary range is $75,086 to $95,283, depending on qualifications and experience.
