THE ROLE: The primary role of the Social Media & Events Coordinator is to support the growth of our brands and clients through both digital community engagement and in‑person event execution. This role blends social media coordination with event planning and is designed for someone who understands how online engagement and real‑world experiences work together to build awareness, strengthen community, and drive meaningful interaction. This person will help manage social media calendars, audience engagement, direct messages, and platform activity while also assisting in the planning, coordination, promotion, and on‑site execution of events. Many of the events we support are driven through social media communication, making this a highly connected role that requires creativity, organization, responsiveness, and strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate is proactive, polished, organized, and excited about helping brands create strong community presence both online and in person. RESPONSIBILITIES Manage and help grow brand communities across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms Build, organize, and maintain social media content calendars Monitor social channels, direct messages, comments, and audience interactions across platforms Track leads, inquiries, guest interest, and engagement activity tied to both social media and event efforts Identify timely opportunities for brands to engage in relevant conversations, trends, and community moments Analyze social media performance, audience behavior, and account health to provide observations and recommendations Assist in creating social‑first content across platforms, including graphics, short‑form video, captions, stories, and promotional event content Support event promotion across social media before, during, and after each activation Assist with the coordination, and execution of on‑site and off‑site events for clients and company initiatives Help develop event concepts that align with client goals, audience interests, and brand identity Assist with the coordination of event timelines, vendor communication, logistics, rentals, decor, gifting, catering, and day‑of needs Support event setup, breakdown, guest flow, and on‑site coordination to ensure a polished experience Assist in managing RSVPs, guest communication, and partnership coordination Work closely with internal teams to align social media efforts, event execution, and overall campaign goals REQUIRED SKILLS 2+ years of direct experience in social media coordination, community management, event coordination, hospitality, marketing, or a related field Experience managing social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube Strong understanding of social media trends, audience engagement, and content performance Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and moving parts at once Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to combine creativity and analytics to turn activity and engagement into actionable insight Experience with event coordination, vendor communication, guest management, or hospitality‑style execution is preferred Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Workspace, and other relevant design or coordination tools Comfortable using mobile creator tools and in‑app editing features for social media platforms Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving ability, and confidence in fast‑paced environments Positive, collaborative, and proactive approach to team and client communication Recent examples of social media content, account management, or event‑related work may be requested as part of the application process WORK SCHEDULE You must be able to commit to a full‑time work schedule, which is a minimum of 40 hours per week during 9:30 AM–5:00 PM EST business hours Monday through Friday, and work from our Tampa, FL office. Must be open to occasional nights, weekends, and travel depending on event schedules, content needs, and activations. NOTE ON THE HIRING TIMELINE This is a rolling admissions process.
