Extension Specialist - Partner Relationships and Data Management This internal posting is open only to current NC State permanent and temporary employees. Responsibilities Data Management Use data management tools and systems to support NCCETC’s relationship‑building, outreach, and fundraising efforts. This role is responsible for organizing and analyzing stakeholder, partner, and donor data to improve engagement strategies, track outreach activities, and inform development initiatives. Accurate data stewardship will help strengthen external relationships, expand program reach, and support sustainable funding for NCCleanTech’s mission. Data Analysis & Impact Reporting Apply data analysis and reporting practices to measure, evaluate, and communicate NCCleanTech’s program impact. Analyze performance metrics, outcomes, and trends to support strategic decision‑making, grant reporting, and stakeholder communications. Provide support for customer relationship management, services and initiatives, and maintain awareness of NCCETC offerings, industry trends, and best practices. Training and Documentation Provide training and documentation on customer relationship management (CRM) systems to support NCCleanTech’s relationship‑building, industry outreach, and fundraising efforts. Develop clear, user‑friendly guidance that helps staff track engagements, manage partner and donor relationships, and apply consistent data practices. Relationship Management Support fundraising and data management initiatives by training staff on best practices for data entry, accuracy, and effective use of customer information. Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships, serving as a trusted point of contact between technical teams, leadership, and partners to drive engagement, transparency, and long‑term success. Other responsibilities may include: assisting the Communications team with strategic direction in relation to NCCETC data management initiatives and establishing procedures and processes for project management best practices. Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree with relevant professional experience. Required Qualifications Demonstrated experience with Hubspot CRM Knowledge of the clean energy industry Ability to work independently and be a self‑starter Demonstrated project management experience Experience with data verification, management and analysis Experience working in collaboration across multiple teams Detail oriented Preferred Qualifications Experience with Microsoft Excel Problem solving skills Aptitude for high‑quality customer service Working knowledge of Google Suites Data analysis experience Required License(s) or Certification(s) No specific license or certification required.
