This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgery NP seeking a consistent weekday schedule, a supportive surgical environment, and the ability to focus on high-acuity cardiac cases without call or weekend responsibilities.

Clinical Responsibilities

• First assist in cardiothoracic surgery procedures
• Endoscopic vein harvesting
• Pre-operative and post-operative patient management
• Collaboration with surgeons, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and ancillary teams
• Management of cardiovascular surgical patients throughout the continuum of care

Desired Experience

• Previous Cardiothoracic Surgery experience required
• Strong first assist experience in cardiac surgery
• Endoscopic vein harvesting experience required
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Ability to manage complex cardiac surgery patients as part of a multidisciplinary team

Required Qualifications

• Active Maryland Nurse Practitioner license
• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• DEA and CSR
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience
