We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and dependable Accountant to join our team and support the day-to-day financial operations of our growing real estate company. This position will play an important role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, processing transactions, and supporting our agents and leadership team.

The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in accuracy, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and can manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting functions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Process invoices, payments, deposits, and other financial transactions
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records
• Prepare and process agent commission payments and related documentation
• Assist with monthly financial reporting and account reconciliations
• Monitor receivables and follow up on outstanding balances
• Assist with payroll and other accounting-related administrative tasks
• Maintain vendor and agent records
• Assist with budgeting, reporting, and other financial projects as needed
• Work closely with management, agents, vendors, and other team members
• Ensure accounting processes are completed accurately and on schedule
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and company information

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience required
• Real estate, construction, or property management accounting experience is a plus
• Strong understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Proficiency with Quick Books, Google Workspace, Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team member
