Position Description

Summary:

Adena is seeking an experienced Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This position supports the execution of marketing, communications, and business development initiatives across the Adena Family of Companies. This role is responsible for maintaining marketing collateral, coordinating internal and external communications, supporting proposal and pursuit efforts, and ensuring brand consistency across all company materials. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, creative, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced construction environment.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Marketing & Communications

1. 1. Draft and schedule social media content for company and brand channels.
   2. Assist with the creation and distribution of internal communications, including the company newsletter ( The Smoke Signal ).
   3. Support the development of press releases, employee announcements, project highlights, and other marketing content.
   4. Coordinate photography, project updates, and content collection from operations teams.

Marketing Collateral & Business Development Support

1. 1. Maintain and update project fact sheets, project profiles, and marketing collateral.
   2. Update and manage employee resumes and qualifications documents for proposal submissions.
   3. Assist with the preparation and organization of proposal materials and pursuit-related marketing assets.
   4. Ensure all marketing materials align with Adena brand standards and messaging.

Database & Content Management

1. 1. Maintain and update Retriever with current project information, employee resumes, project photography, and supporting content.
   2. Organize and manage marketing files, templates, and digital assets.
   3. Track and maintain project milestones and information for future marketing use.

Brand Management

1. 1. Support implementation of branding initiatives across the Adena Family of Companies.
   2. Create and edit marketing materials including brochures, presentations, advertisements, signage, and digital assets.
   3. Ensure consistency in messaging, visual identity, and quality across all communications.

Event & Administrative Support

1. 1. Assist with company events, community outreach initiatives, recruiting events, and industry conferences.
   2. Coordinate marketing materials and promotional items for events and job fairs.
   3. Provide general administrative support to the Marketing Manager as needed.

Position Requirements

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Public Relations, Business, or a related field preferred. Minimum two years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite.
3. Experience managing social media platforms and digital marketing campaigns.
4. Excellent written, editing, proofreading, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
5. Strong understanding of branding principles and marketing best practices.
6. Experience using analytics and reporting tools.
7. Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
8. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
10. Creative thinker with innovative marketing ideas.
