As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Product Manager who is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive product line roadmaps to achieve fiscal performance goals. The successful candidate will be a results‑oriented team player with strong analytical skills, a process improvement mindset, detail orientation, and excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Location Onsite - Bessemer, Alabama; Occasional Travel What You’ll Do Develop and execute comprehensive product line roadmaps to achieve fiscal performance goals. Collaborate with customers, sales teams, application engineers, and design engineers to align deliverables with customer expectations. Conduct regular engagements with end‑users to assess product requirements and market‑driven price levels. Design and implement go‑to‑market strategies, including marketing and pricing initiatives, to enhance product visibility and competitiveness. Provide technical solutions to meet client and customer needs while ensuring the adoption of advanced technologies. Ensure all reported technical issues are resolved promptly and in compliance with organizational standards. Maintain in‑depth knowledge of products and oversee adaptations to address user requirements effectively. Develop and implement policies for technical training for both clients and internal stakeholders, as necessary. Prepare and complete all required documentation accurately and efficiently. Adhere to 5S standards by maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Comply with all safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures. Undertake additional duties assigned to support organizational objectives. What You’ll Need To Excel In This Role Comprehensive knowledge of concepts and principles within the field. Proven ability to perform complex tasks, typically following established processes. Strong leadership and team management capabilities with full authority for personnel decisions. Familiarity with departmental budgeting, strategic planning, and process improvement initiatives. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline (required). MBA or advanced degree is highly preferred, along with commercial experience in a technical environment. Experience with the electrical transmission or distribution utility market is highly preferred. Competencies/Skills Strategic and conceptual thinking. Expertise in product design and development. Advanced project scheduling and organizational skills. Strong computer skills in Excel, Word, MS Office suite. Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and business process. Strong skills in developing and presenting performance metrics reports. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with others. Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data. Ability to prepare and present comprehensive reports. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, including preparing and presenting information. Ability to work independently and be self‑directed as needed. WMS experience and knowledge preferred. ERP system knowledge (JD Edwards preferred).
