Millwright Team Member

Calumet Dryer Services, LLC is seeking a motivated  entry-level Millwright to join its team. Experienced millwrights and candidates interested in beginning a career in industrial construction are encouraged to apply.

This position involves traveling to agricultural, grain-handling, and grain-drying facilities throughout Wisconsin and Upper Michigan. The successful candidate will install, repair, maintain, and upgrade equipment that helps customers operate safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Install grain storage, grain-handling, grain-drying, and processing equipment at new and existing facilities.
• Repair and maintain grain-drying and grain-handling equipment.
• Assemble equipment and troubleshoot mechanical issues in the field.
• Work safely at heights of 100 feet or more while using appropriate fall protection.
• Operate—or become certified to operate—forklifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts, and other jobsite equipment.
• Communicate project progress and complete assignments in coordination with the project manager.
• Represent Calumet Dryer Services professionally when working with customers and subcontractors.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshoot equipment and make field adjustments as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to safely work at heights of 100 feet or more using fall protection.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel occasionally for work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in millwright work, industrial construction, or the mechanical trades.
• Agricultural, grain-handling, or grain-drying experience.
• Welding or fabrication experience.
• Experience operating construction equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical repair skills.
