Emergency Veterinarian, Highly Respected Hospital, DeLand, FL, $225,000-$450,000 ProSal Practice Overview A highly respected specialty emergency hospital in DeLand, Florida, is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join a technologically advanced and multidisciplinary team. The hospital provides comprehensive emergency and critical care services and is equipped to manage a broad range of urgent and complex cases. The role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced veterinary professionals in a collaborative clinical environment, with access to advanced diagnostics, surgical capabilities, and established clinical support. Structured onboarding, clinical leadership, and mentorship are available to support both experienced emergency clinicians and veterinarians looking to further develop their emergency and critical care skills. Facility Capabilities •On-site CT imaging for advanced diagnostic assessment
•Full surgical suites to support emergency and urgent surgical procedures
•Digital radiography and ultrasound
•Comprehensive in-house laboratory for efficient diagnostics and case management
•Advanced diagnostic and treatment capabilities for complex emergency cases
•Multidisciplinary clinical environment with opportunities for collaboration
•Structured onboarding to support a smooth transition into the hospital
•Clinical leadership and mentorship
•Opportunities to participate in clinical protocol development and team training Role Responsibilities •Deliver high-quality emergency and critical care services to canine and feline patients
•Assess, stabilize, diagnose, and manage urgent and life-threatening conditions
•Manage complex medical and surgical cases from initial presentation through treatment
•Perform emergency procedures and provide appropriate perioperative care
•Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and in-house laboratory capabilities to support clinical decision-making
•Collaborate with specialty teams and other members of the hospital's clinical team
•Communicate effectively with clients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, prognosis, and ongoing care
•Contribute to clinical protocol development, quality improvement, and team training
•Participate in continuing education and maintain current knowledge of emergency and critical care medicine Compensation & Benefits •ProSal compensation of $225,000-$450,000
