Neurosurgery Physician Assistant Opportunity in Northeast Tennessee

The multi-specialty practice is one of the most comprehensive providers of Neurosurgery, located in Johnson City, TN and Kingsport, TN, serving 1.3 million people in the Tri-Cities. This well-established group has served the Tri-Cities for over 18 years and is seeking a licensed PA. The group provides neurosurgical services to Johnson City Medical Center (JCMC), a Level I Trauma Center and outpatient only procedures at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tennessee. JCMC offers state-of-the-art neuro services and programs including: neuro- interventionalists, a Neuro ICU, a dedicated spine floor, and 24/7 critical care specialists.

Highlights of the position

• Evaluate and treat patients in an outpatient clinic setting

• Evaluate and treat patients in an inpatient setting

• Perform minor procedures including injections/aspirations
\n
• Inpatient rounding in the hospital setting to include bedside procedures
\n
• First Assist in OR
\n
• Rotating call schedule with 15 other PA's at Level 1 Trauma Center
\n
• Employed
\n
• Current Practice: 5 full-time Neurosurgeons, 15 PA's,
\n
• Predominantly Adult Population
\n
• Dedicated Neuro Surgery Suite at Level 1 Trauma Center
\n
• Latest technology available including Stealth
\n
• Technology; Medtronic O Arm
\n
