Bilingual Marketing and Communications Coordinator

Bilingual Marketing and Communications Coordinator Conexión Américas is seeking a dynamic Marketing and Communications Coordinator proficient in bilingual (English‑Spanish) communication with a wealth of experience in traditional and digital media. We prioritize creativity, positivity, and empathy when engaging with diverse communities. Responsibilities Support the Associate Director of Communications and Advocacy with the maintenance of Conexión Américas' storybank. Provide social media and digital content insights for grant and tracking purposes. Update the organizational media tracker and Conexión in Media webpage. Order business cards, name tags, and other branded materials for staff. Help build and reinforce an organizational culture in which all staff and board members embrace their role as brand ambassadors and storytellers. Design marketing pieces, including digital and printed materials, for program promotions, brand awareness, and special events. Manage social media by creating and analyzing postings. Work with program coordinators to ensure promotion of programs and events in social media and Boletín. Take photos of people, programs and events as needed. Manage website content and updates. Lead the content management of programs and services on our websites. Support the Development team with communications and marketing needs for fundraising and special events. Execute promotional campaigns to drive attendance and participation in events, programs, and fundraising initiatives. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful event marketing. Assist other duties as needed to support organization’s needs. Attend occasional evening or weekend events. Remain flexible to accommodate unanticipated needs. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field. Minimum of three years of experience in marketing, graphic design, or communications. Proven track record of developing and implementing successful communications and marketing strategies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to craft compelling messages for diverse audiences. Understanding of web development or motivation to learn and grow in these areas. Proficiency in social media management tools, content management systems, and analytics platforms. Experience in graphic design and the use of Canva. Strong project management skills, ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Creative thinking and problem‑solving abilities, with keen eye for detail and design. Experience in nonprofit organizations or community‑focused initiatives is a plus. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required. Benefits Annual salary range: $54,000–$56,000. Medical and Dental insurance. 401(k) with employer matching.
