The Tax Senior at Catalyst Family Office demonstrates consistent proficiency as a tax team member across a range of projects and is now taking increased ownership for the management and implementation of projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide tax compliance and consulting services to individuals, trusts, partnerships and not-for-profit clients.
- Assist tax interns and tax associates.
- Identify tax planning and consulting opportunities.
- Bring unusual or significant tax questions to the attention of the manager or partner.
- Tackle increasingly complex accounting and/or tax issues.
- Remain knowledgeable with up-to-date on industry developments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, or Master's in Taxation preferred.
- 3 years or more full time work tax compliance experience in individual, partnership, trust and not-for-profit entities.
- Proficiency in common tax technology preparation and reporting software (BNA Income Tax Planner, Checkpoint RIA, CCH Axcess Tax, MS Office(advanced excel capabilities).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to details.
- Good communication skills.
- A desire to contribute, learn, and grow at Catalyst Family Office.
