Travel Surgery RN - $2,445 per week

HealthTrust Workforce Solution External is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Alamogordo, New Mexico. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel SHIFT: 4 DAYS, 10 HR/DAY Types of surgical patients - Orthopedic, General, Podiatry, GYN/OB including C Sections, Pain Management, Urology, and Endoscopy. Demonstrates proficiency and independence in the care of patients and their families/significant others by applying and documenting the nursing process, assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Consults with staff, physicians and management on nursing problems and interpretation of hospital policies to ensure patient needs are met. Continues to learn new skills and maintains clinical competency within the department to provide direct and safe patient care. Education/Skills • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred. Experience • 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications • BLS required (AHA only) • RN License in state of NM required. • ACLS required (AHA only) • PALS required (AHA only) • CPI required.
