This individual will play a critical role in bringing accounting operations fully in-house while leading financial oversight across all live productions. The Controller will have direct visibility into event-level financial performance and will partner closely with leadership to forecast, budget, and evaluate profitability across each production. Key Responsibilities: Lead cost forecasting and budgeting for live events (venue rental, staging, lighting, production, etc.) Perform project-based accounting and financial modeling to determine event profitability Reconcile event budgets on-site to prevent cost overruns Transition Accounts Payable from outsourced to in-house operations Oversee internal Accounts Receivable processes Partner with executive leadership on strategic financial planning and growth initiatives Support the continued build-out of the internal accounting infrastructure Travel to live events approximately 5–10 times annually Qualifications: CPA required 7–10 years of accounting experience, ideally within live events, concerts, production studios, television production, or sports production Strong cost forecasting and budgeting experience in production-based environments Experience with project accounting and event-level reconciliation Comfortable in a demanding, early-stage startup environment Hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves mindset Willingness to work extended hours and occasional weekends as events require This is a unique opportunity to step into a high-impact leadership role at a company experiencing rapid growth, where your financial oversight will directly influence the success and scalability of major live productions.
