Roofing Production Manager (Technical / Field Leader)

TraVek Remodeling & Roofing is looking for a hands-on, highly technical Roofing Production Manager who knows how to run jobs in the field, solve problems in real time, and hold crews to a high standard.

This is not an entry-level or coordinator role.
We are looking for someone who has deep roofing experience and can immediately step in and lead production with confidence.

What You’ll Be Responsible For Field-Driven Production Leadership

• Own roofing projects from sales handoff through completion
• Build and actively manage production schedules
• Coordinate crews, materials, inspections, and sequencing
• Be in the field regularly to inspect, direct, and course-correct jobs

Crew Leadership & Accountability

• Lead subcontractors and crews with clear expectations and standards
• Hold teams accountable for:
• Installation quality
• Job site cleanliness
• Production timelines
• Address performance issues quickly and directly

Technical Roofing Oversight

You must be confident overseeing and troubleshooting:

• Tile roofing systems
• Shingle systems
• Foam and coatings
• Metal roofing

This role requires someone who can:

• Identify install issues immediately
• Provide real-time solutions in the field
• Ensure work is done right the first time

Job Cost & Production Control

• Manage job budgets and protect gross profit
• Track labor and material usage
• Identify issues early and take action
• Ensure projects are completed on time and on budget

Systems & Accountability

• Use CRM and production tools to:
• Track job progress
• Maintain schedules
• Document field activity
• Keep jobs organized, updated, and moving

Customer Experience

• Communicate clearly with homeowners
• Handle issues professionally and efficiently
• Deliver a clean, high-quality finished product

What We’re Looking For Required (Non-Negotiable)

• 5+ years of hands-on roofing production experience
• Strong knowledge of:
• Tile
• Shingle
• Foam / coatings
• Metal
• Proven experience managing crews or subcontractors
• Ability to manage multiple active jobs at once
• Strong understanding of job costing and profitability

If your experience is not specifically in roofing production, this role will not be a fit.

Preferred

• Experience in the Arizona roofing market
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Experience with production metrics and KPIs

• Gross profit maintained or improved
• Minimal rework and warranty issues
• Strong crew performance and accountability
• High customer satisfaction

Compensation

• Base Salary: $75,000 – $95,000 (DOE)
• Performance bonuses based on:
• Profitability
• Efficiency
• Quality
• Company vehicle + gas allowance
