• Conduct a variety of routine and advanced laboratory tests-covering chemistry, hematology, and immunology, all while adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for correctness, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out maintenance and calibration for lab equipment.
• Support specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis when needed.
• Thoroughly document all processes, train new hires or students, and help maintain high lab standards.
• Keep a clean and safe workspace while complying with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hire.
• Maintain current certification for the duration of employment.
