Counter Sales/Warehouse Associate

In search of a Counter Sales and Warehouse Associate. Customer Service, Warehouse, and Parts Sales expirience prefered. Position pays between $20/hr and $25/hr on 1st shift in Lexington. Apply with a resume to be considered, or send it to View email address on randstadusa.com.  Possible duties include: obtaining and verifying products for orders, shipping and receiving inventory, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, assisting customers with orders and technical inquiries, invoicing sales orders, reconciling cash sales, processing warranty credit memos, maintaining displays, and ensuring safe and timely deliveries.

Responsibilities

1. Responds to inquiries from walk-in and over-the-phone customers. Determines types,
quantity, and quality of merchandise requested and enters orders.
2. Prepares sales or returns orders with appropriate information and strictly follows
approved procedures and instructions.
3. Verifies customer information, credit status, job information, and valid representation
of the person picking up materials to assure correct identification of sales orders.
4. Accurately prepares orders for both walk-in, and phone. May assist in loading customer
orders.
5. Coordinates with Yard and Shipping personnel in connection with pick-ups of yard
materials and deliveries of products for sales originating at the counter.
6. Receives and processes COD payments (cash, checks, and credit cards).
7. Carefully carries out and completely documents the inspection of products returned
at the counter.
8. Restocks and maintains warehouse shelves filled and in excellent order.
9. Complies with policies and procedures as to Counter Sales.
10. Makes careful use of equipment and supplies needed for efficient counter operations.
11. Strictly follows Safety Rules and Guidelines.
