Senior Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $70,000 to $80,000 per year. Job Responsibilities Process accounts payable and receivable transactions and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal teams. Monitor receivable balances and support timely collection activities through regular follow up. Prepare and review account reconciliations for payables, receivables, and general ledger accounts. Maintain the general ledger by assisting with journal entries and ensuring compliance with accounting policies. Support month end and year end close by providing documentation, assisting with audits, and maintaining fixed asset records. Requirements A Bachelor degree's in accounting or related field or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience in an accounting role within a corporate environment. Previous knowledge of accounting standards and general ledger processes. Proficiency with Excel and familiarity with accounting systems such as QuickBooks or similar tools. Ability to manage deadlines, work under pressure, and support multiple accounting functions. Qualifications Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate financial data. Effective communication skills when working with vendors, customers, and internal teams. Organized and dependable work style with the ability to manage competing priorities.
