About the Position Position/Specialty: MedSurg RN ***10 Weeks*** Shift: 4x12s, Nights 7p-7:30a Ratios: 1:6-7, Staffing plan supports 1:6 normal ratios but if there is an unplanned absence that can't be covered the unit will flex to 1:7 Weekend REQ (Y/N): Yes, every other weekend Is on-call REQ? Yes Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: Prefer experience, 2 years First-time travelers accepted: (Y/N): Yes License REQ: SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start Certifications REQ: BLS Certifications Preferred: ACLS, NIHSS Special Requirements: Epic experience Skills Required: Med/Surg, MS/Tele, Telemetry, Insulin, Rapid Response Miscellaneous Open to accommodating block schedule? The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
