Contract Sr. Field Marketing Manager - Central

Proofpoint is seeking a results-driven Contract Senior Field Marketing Manager (5 month duration) who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about generating demand and contributing to pipeline growth. In this role, you will work closely with Sales leadership in the Central region, as well as collaborate with peers across the Marketing organization, to develop and execute the regional marketing strategy, plan, and budget. You will be responsible for strategically planning and executing high-impact, integrated marketing programs that engage both current and prospective customers. These programs will be designed to drive pipeline growth and strengthen customer loyalty by using the right mix of tactics to reach, educate, nurture, and convert target audiences into high-quality leads and opportunities. The ideal candidate is a modern marketer with a proven track record of generating upmarket pipeline and accelerating deal cycles through effective, data-driven marketing initiatives. Your day-to-day Develop the integrated field and channel marketing plan for the U.S. Northeast region to drive pipeline growth and customer loyalty. Plan, manage, execute, and measure the quarterly regional marketing plan to support the sales team in exceeding pipeline and revenue goals. Ensure strong communication with key stakeholders by creating high levels of awareness, excitement, and adoption of marketing programs and resources. Exceed key quarterly metrics goals and track program results, measuring success and reporting on key performance indicators. Manage and execute multi-faceted event programs, including in-person and virtual seminars, webinars, executive conferences and roundtables, industry events, and networking functions, while developing comprehensive pre- and post-event strategies. Provide on-site support for marketing programs execution. Identify and manage relevant industry associations and ensure an appropriate level of engagement. Integrate technology partner co-marketing programs into the regional marketing plans. Track lead flow to ensure appropriate sales channels follow up with event attendees and campaign responders in a timely manner. Establish and proactively manage the field marketing budget, ensuring effective and efficient spending tracking. Align with Sales VPs and Regional Directors to understand regional market trends and tailor marketing programs to support quota attainment goals. What you bring to the team Minimum of 5 years of experience in a high-tech, B2B, sales-facing marketing role Passion for field marketing and partnering with sales to generate pipeline and drive business growth Proven success in managing integrated marketing campaigns and programs to generate new business, drive cross-sell and upsell opportunities, and accelerate sales cycles Demonstrated leadership, innovation, and creativity, with a natural ability to think outside the box Enthusiasm for tackling challenges and a strong work ethic Excellent strategic thinking skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions Experience working closely with sales leadership and influencing cross-functional teams Strong initiative, sense of urgency, ability to multi-task, excellent organizational and project management skills, and a "can-do" attitude Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills (both verbal and written) Positive attitude, friendly and outgoing demeanor, and a willingness to take smart risks Experience with Salesforce.com and Marketo is a plus Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time Proofpoint is an equal opportunity employer, we hire without consideration to race, religion, creed, color, national origin, age, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, veteran status or disability. #J-18808-Ljbffr Proofpoint
