Monday - Wednesday: 8 hours/day
Thursday - Friday: 7 hours/day

Job Duties:
Worker will be performing job duties associated with SOC Code 45-2093 Farmworkers, Farm, Ranch and Livestock.
Job duties will include Removing Snow and Ice from worksite, buildings, and other structures. Maintaining ground and landscaping. Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures. Perform minor plumbing as needed to faucets and pipes, and water systems. Maintain heat in buildings to prevent water lines and utilities from freezing. Herd livestock to scales, trucks, or other enclosures. Loading and unloading livestock on a regular basis, Ensure the safety and wellbeing of the animals. Examine animals to detect illness, injury, or disease, and to check physical characteristics, such as rate of weight gain. Segregate animals according to weight, age, color, and physical condition. Maintain growth, feeding, production records. Provide medical treatment, such as administering medications and vaccinations, or arrange for veterinarians to provide more extensive treatment. Mix feed, additives, and medicines in prescribed portions. Workers will be expected to maintain and assist with livestock feeding systems, ensuring livestock are fed and watered according to respective protocols. Workers will frequently monitor equipment to make sure feed, and water dispensers are not plugged, empty, frozen or dirty. Clean-up site. Clean stalls, pens, and equipment, using disinfectant solutions, brushes, shovels, water hoses, or pumps. Washing and disinfecting at the facilities where manure is removed may also be completed. The job requires working around livestock and the strong smell of manure.
Minimum Education Required
None. No High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum Experience Required
Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed.
Must be able to obtain appropriate driver's license following hire and obtain clean driving record.
Be able to lift up to 80 lbs.
Must speak and understand English.
Job will require exposure to extreme temperatures.
Extensive pushing and pulling is required.
Extensive walking or sitting is required.
Frequent stooping or bending over is required.
Repetitive movements are required.
Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employer's drug free and alcohol-free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.

Additional Compensation
Employer may, at the company’s sole discretion, pay workers at a rate above the minimum required and/or provide additional compensation such as bonuses, fixed salaries, PTO, insurance, incentive pay, or other benefits to any worker employed under this job order based on lawful, non-discriminatory factors including skill, performance, tenure with the employer, licensing, training, punctuality, or prior related experience.
As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay.

Job Benefits
EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.78 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year.
