Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop the maintenance team Oversee apartment make-readies to ensure units are completed on schedule Assign and prioritize daily work orders Troubleshoot and perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry, and general maintenance repairs Ensure completion of preventive maintenance programs Maintain the community's curb appeal and common areas Manage maintenance inventory and supplies Coordinate vendors and contractors Ensure work orders are completed accurately and timely Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, Fair Housing, and company safety standards Participate in the rotating emergency on-call schedule Assist with capital improvement projects and property inspections Work closely with the Community Director to manage maintenance budgets and property performance What We're Looking For 3+ years of multifamily apartment maintenance experience Previous maintenance leadership or supervisory experience preferred EPA Universal Certification (required) Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, appliances, drywall, painting, and general carpentry Pool certification (or ability to obtain) Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Why You'll Love Working Here We value our team members and offer competitive compensation along with an outstanding benefits package, including: Competitive pay Quarterly performance bonus opportunity Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance 401(k) with Company Match Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Floating Holidays Employee Apartment Discount Professional Development Opportunities Company-provided uniforms Tools and equipment provided Career advancement opportunities Physical Requirements Frequently lift up to 75 pounds Climb ladders and stairs Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the workday Respond to after-hours emergency calls Why Axia Residential?
