Physical Therapist

Schedule: 8 hours per day

Assignment Details: Guaranteed Hours: 40 Contract Weeks: 8

Requirements:

• Current State License as a Physical Therapist - Required
• Proof of current CPR certification - Required
• Current driver's license. Must have reliable transportation and insurance - Required
• 1-2 years experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting - Required
• Previous home care experience - Preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an approved program - Required

Responsibilities:

• Conduct clinical assessments to identify patient needs and eligibility.
• Document and manage Plans of Care, progress notes, and other clinical records.
• Provide treatment for neuromuscular, neurological, and orthopedic disorders.
• Instruct patients and families on proper techniques and equipment use.
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic procedures according to individual needs.
• Maintain infection control protocols during patient care activities.
