Senior Identity & Access Management (IAM) Developer

job summary:
Join a high impact team responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting an enterprise Identity & Access Management (IAM) platform. This hybrid opportunity is ideal for a senior IAM professional with expertise in identity lifecycle automation, Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and application integrations. You will develop secure identity solutions, integrate enterprise applications using REST APIs, implement federation protocols including SAML and OpenID Connect (OIDC), and help maintain a scalable, secure IAM environment. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of enterprise IAM experience and a strong background in identity governance, access management, and authentication technologies. Experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM) and SailPoint Identity Security Cloud is a plus. This is a hybrid position based in Austin, TX.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise IAM solutions and identity provider architecture.
• Configure and support Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and federation using SAML 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC).
• Develop Joiner, Mover, and Leaver (JML) identity lifecycle workflows.
• Integrate enterprise applications with IAM platforms using REST APIs.
• Design and implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) models, separation of duties, and certification campaigns.
• Deploy and support Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions, including credential vaulting, automated password rotation, and just-in-time (JIT) provisioning.
• Troubleshoot provisioning issues, connection failures, and system performance.
• Perform ongoing maintenance, optimization, and onboarding of new business applications into the IAM environment.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to ensure secure and scalable identity management solutions.

qualifications:
Qualifications:

8+ years of experience with IAM platform governance, engineering, lifecycle automation, and scripting.

8+ years of experience integrating business applications with IAM systems.

5+ years designing and implementing RBAC models, separation of duties, and certification campaigns.

5+ years managing centralized identity providers, including SSO, MFA, and federation protocols.

Strong experience with REST API integrations.

Experience implementing enterprise authentication and authorization solutions using SAML 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC).
