Good Shepherd Hospice Lpn OpportunityAt Good Shepherd Hospice, our organization promotes the physical, emotional and spiritual well-being both of the person completing life's journey and their family members by providing comprehensive and compassionate end-of-life care of the highest quality.We are looking for a compassionate LPN with the "Hospice Heart" to join our care team who are committed to providing both medical and emotional support to patients and families.This is an evening position 5x 8 hour shifts (4:30pm-12:30am) - Rotating Weekends & HolidayPosition covers Suffolk CountyGreat Healthcare benefits – Vision, and DentalEducation reimbursement of $5,250Job DetailsOur Community Hospice LPN's:Work under the supervision and assignment of the registered nurse to provide top-notch care to hospice patients and their families within a home setting.Communicate status of patient to teamHelp patient manage pain and end of life symptomsExperience in home care, skilled nursing facilities and/or oncology preferred.Minimum Qualifications:Minimum of one to two years prior bedside nursing experience requiredCurrent and valid NY State license to practice as a Licensed Practical NurseMust have a current, valid New York State driver's license and own transportationExperience in home care, skilled nursing facilitiesPosted Salary RangeUSD $33.00 - USD $40.00 /Hr.This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
