Locums Ob/Gyn Opportunity At Uchealth Yampa Valley Medical Center

UCHealth Yampa Valley Medical Center is looking for a locums OB/GYN to provide full time coverage! Schedule:

Schedule: Hospital - M-F Varies; Office/Clinic - 8a-5p M-F

Call Schedule: 1 in 4. Clinic days are 4 days per provider.

Provider will work 4 days in clinic and ~8 days of call per month. CNMs generally cover weekends as 1st call.

Average number of patients per physician per day: Clinic - 15-20

Average number of deliveries per physician per week: 6

Number of staff in the group: OB/GYN - 3; Mid-levels - 2; MFM/Perinatologists - virtual

Locum tenens physician is required to supervise other healthcare providers: YES, but not supervision but 2 certified nurse mid-wives when they take 1st call

OB/GYNS present during locum tenens coverage: YES

Nursery services: Level II (Ability to transfer to higher Level NICU)

Referral/Transfer protocol: There is a central line ("DocLine") to call and coordinate transfers

Locum tenens involved in covering/supervising teaching services: NO

Required Procedures:

Obstetrics:

Low risk pregnancy – Pt's with pre-existing problems, history of twins, history of toxemia, pyelonephritis, hyperemesis, etc.

High risk pregnancy – Pt.'s with toxemia, diabetes, Class II or higher cardiacs, chronic lung problems, chronic renal disease, etc.

FHR interpretation – NST/CST/FSE

OB ultrasounds – Performance of Interpretation (Level I/screening (viability)

Labor and Delivery:

Routine delivery –Vaginal, low forceps, decision-making for C-section

Complicated delivery –C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, etc.

Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations

Gynecology:

Office/minor gynecology –IUD, Cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.

Surgical gynecology *– open laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only –tubal ligation, LOA's, chromal tubation

Operative/major (includes diagnostic) – ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's

Travel Requirements: Must send provider flights and lodging info 4 weeks before start. Flights - Up to $750 RT cap Lodging - Reimbursed by Receipt - up to $150 total per night cap. Car rental - Reimbursed by Receipt - up to an economy car cap. Mileage - IRS Standard Rate. Rates needed for submission:

Board Certified OB/GYN (ABMS/AOA) - REQUIRED

CO License or IMLC - REQUIRED

Must be available to provide full time coverage - REQUIRED (will not accept anything less than 3 weeks/month - no exceptions)

COVID Vaccinated - REQUIRED

Must disclose the # of years of Epic Experience and the Last MM/YYYY provider used EPIC - REQUIRED
