What You’ll Do Be a Team Member: Collaborate with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicate with team members and be flexible to business needs, including working in other areas. Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of floor operations, backroom, product safety, sanitation, inventory management, and equipment maintenance; prepare meat products (cutting, grinding, wrapping, trimming) according to standards; maintain product quality. Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and raise associate engagement; use handheld technology for immediate decisions related to production, training, and product quality. Be an Owner: Commit to operational excellence, maintain work area per policies, ensure quality and date‑control standards, secure fragile merchandise, eliminate waste, assist members with purchasing decisions, and ensure proper packaging, labeling and storage. Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and the club by valuing members’ experience in the meat area, modeling high quality service and products, executing basics at the highest level, and exhibiting energy, commitment, and passion. Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics by implementing action plans, using the Open Door Policy, and applying these in business processes.
