Rise Up Innovation is growing our Detroit team and are hiring motivated, outgoing individuals for a Customer Sales Associate position. This full-time, on-site opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with people and want hands-on experience in sales, customer service, customer relations, marketing, customer acquisition, and business development.

No previous sales experience is required. Rise Up Innovation provides comprehensive training, ongoing coaching, and team support to help new associates develop strong communication skills, learn client products and services, and build confidence in a customer-facing sales environment.

As a Customer Sales Associate , you will connect with customers throughout the Detroit area, learn about their needs, explain available products and services, and help identify solutions that fit their preferences. You will also work closely with the sales team to support customer acquisition, account assistance, and local campaign goals.

Customer Sales Associate Responsibilities

• Connect with prospective and existing customers through professional, formal interactions
• Learn about customer needs and recommend appropriate products, services, and solutions
• Explain current service options, promotions, features, and account information clearly
• Assist new customers with service selections and account enrollment
• Support existing customers with upgrades, account adjustments, and service questions
• Build positive customer relationships through helpful and professional communication
• Support customer acquisition and local sales initiatives throughout the Detroit market
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, account activity, and sales results
• Stay informed on client products, services, promotions, and campaign updates
• Collaborate with team members and management to improve customer experience and sales performance
• Participate in local promotional campaigns, customer engagement initiatives, and community outreach
• Work toward individual and team performance goals

Key Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be able to work full-time and on-site in Detroit, MI
• Reliable transportation for local travel
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly, professional, and customer-focused approach
• Comfortable speaking with customers and explaining products or services
• Dependable, coachable, and willing to learn
• Strong organization and time-management skills
• Goal-oriented mindset and positive attitude
• Previous experience in sales, customer service, marketing, client relations, hospitality, or a similar customer-facing role is helpful but not required
