Job Summary:
Xray Technologist position located in Tacoma, Washington. This role involves performing radiographic procedures in a Level II pediatric trauma center with a focus on pediatric imaging within a busy hospital setting. The technologist will support the team by producing high-quality images for patients ranging from infants to adolescents, adhering to strict safety and imaging protocols.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: ARRT - R certification, BLS certification, Washington state license; 1 year of experience preferred, no specific experience required minimum; location in Washington state; minimum of 0 years of experience required
• Patient Types and Common Diagnoses: Patients aged 0-18 years with various diagnoses; experience with pediatric patients preferred
• Skills Required: Experience with pediatric patients in radiography, including fluoroscopy procedures such as upper GIs, EV shunts, and barium studies; excellent communication skills, self-starter attitude, multitasking capabilities, kindness, and patience with children and their parents; ability to produce high-quality images
• Additional Information: The role may require floating to different units including OR, ER, fluoroscopy, or portable imaging in NICU. Weekend rotations and on-call duties may be required, limited to nights and weekends, with a maximum of 24 hours per month during on-call periods. Scrub color is flexible. Parking includes free garage and street parking, with nearby light rail options. The facility has 152 beds, including 70 level IV NICU beds.
