Providence is calling for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Seward, Alaska. Up to $2,500 hiring bonus for eligible full-time external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment. Hours: Full Time Shift: Variable Under direct supervision this position is accountable to the RN to facilitate a safe and secure environment for the patient/resident, family and providers in the department in completion of the duties delegated to them for the shift and maintaining clear communication between the needs of the patient/resident through the RN. Required Qualifications: Successful completion of Caring Reliably, Culinary Training, ServSafe, and Dining Assistance within four months of hire. Completed training as a Certified Nursing Assistant Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire. Preferred Qualifications: 6 months of experience as a nurse aide, nursing assistant or personal care attendant in long term care or hospital. Why Join Providence?
