Requirements Highschool diploma or GED One (1) year of experience working in HR Prior experience and understanding of applicable rules and regulations governing state and federal guidelines regarding employer and employee. Valid driver’s license and meet qualifiers to be insured by EON, Inc.’s vehicle insurance provider. Safe and operational vehicle to commute and travel for business purposes. Meet the physical requirements as outlined in this position description. Able to read and write in English. Possess excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Internet Explorer. Preferred Qualifications: Degree in HR, Business or HR Certification. Two (2) years’ experience in the HR field. Experience working in the health care industry is a plus. Summary To work directly with the HR Manager to run the daily functions of the HR department. These areas may include recruitment and hiring, leave of absence, training, pay and benefits administration, and enforcing company policies and practices. Conduct day to day HR functions. Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs (i.e.: recruiting, benefits, and leave of absence, recognition, training and development etc.) Conduct full cycle recruitment activities (i.e.: job postings, resume screening, interviews, orientation etc.) to ensure a positive and professional candidate experience. Assist with employment marketing and branding. Serve as back up for other HR staff (HR Assistant, Recruiter, Administrative Specialist) Conduct employment marketing and branding duties, ensuring EON has a consistent on line presence. Administer leave of absence according to company policy, state and federal law. Assist the HR department with conducting both annual benefit open enrollment and newly eligible benefit enrollment ensuring employees have appropriate information and communication. Collect and enter deduction changes for taxes and insurance into HRIS Timely and accurately process employee terminations in all appropriate systems/programs. Conduct, document and report appropriately exit interviews with exiting employees. Assist the HR department with updating job descriptions as directed. Accurately maintain employee documentation and records including personnel, benefit, training and medical records. Maintain accurate employee records using the HRIS, ensuring data integrity. Run standard HRIS reports to support HR processes. Provide basic support to employees and managers using the system and assist with troubleshooting. Assist with general office administration tasks (i.e.: welcome and direct visitors, order office supplies etc.) Assist with the coordination of company events as requested. Support the HR Department in compliance, organization and streamlining processes. Maintain, evaluate and revise written HR procedures and recommend updates to ensure they are effective, efficient and in line with business needs and legally compliant. Attend trainings and events to maintain and expand knowledge and understanding of existing and proposed federal and state laws/regulations affecting human resources.
