Community Blood Drive Account ManagerField-Based | Outside Sales | Relationship-Driven RoleWe’re hiring a high-energy, relationship-focused sales professional to grow and manage blood drive partnerships across the market.This is a true outside sales role—you’ll be in the community daily building relationships, securing new accounts, and driving results that directly impact lives.What You’ll DoProspect, develop, and close new blood drive partnershipsBuild relationships with businesses, schools, churches, and community leadersManage and grow an existing account baseDeliver presentations to secure participationSchedule and coordinate successful blood drivesTrack outreach and maintain a strong sales pipelineMeet and exceed performance goalsCompensation & Benefits: Beginning base pay: $46,000-$52,000 annually, commensurate with experience. SHARE LIFE.KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES:Associate’s degree in marketing, public relations or related field, plusAt least two (2) years of sales, business development or other relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the job duties.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; effective interpersonal skills.Demonstrated skills and experience in public speaking.Must be self-motivated to schedule and follow-up on meetings with little or no direct supervision.Ability to use a computer to retrieve or record blood drive information.Must demonstrate a positive approach toward donors, drive chairpersons, the community, and coworkers, acting in a professional manner at all times.ADDITIONAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBLITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:LEVEL II: All of the above, plusHelps develop and schedule in open/vacant territories under supervision of Regional DirectorMaintains social media account in conjunction with Marketing, Regional Director and other Account ManagersAt least six (6) months of experience in blood collection account managementDemonstrated ability to consistently achieve established collection goalsDemonstrates proficiency in blood typing for educational purposes.Demonstrates strong ability to develop accounts and project product collections with high accuracyProven ability to communicate effectively with donor services team leadersLEVEL III: All of the above, plusHelps develop, mentor and coach newer Account Managers under the direction of the Regional Director.May plan region’s retail drive scheduling strategy, as directed by the Regional DirectorDemonstrated strong ability to add new accountsDemonstrated strong understanding of donor eligibility criteriaDemonstrated ability to consistently exceed established collection goalsBILINGUAL: All of the above, plusUtilizes bilingual abilities to book and coordinate blood drives in Spanish-speaking communitiesAssists with development of marketing materials for Spanish-speaking donorsFully bilingual (English/Spanish) verbal and written communicationPHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORKING CONDITIONS / ENVIRONMENT:Work requires irregular hours, including evenings and weekends.Requires travel within the community to meetings and events; must have reliable transportation with state minimum insurance coverage, possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable by our commercial auto insurance carrier.Must possess a Real ID compliant form of identification for access to DoD installations and federal facilities for presentations and coordinating blood drivesLow risk of exposure to infectious disease from contact with human blood and blood components while at blood drives.The requirements and physical demands listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
